The City of Goshen is seeking a Utilities City Engineer who will be responsible for managing and overseeing the design and construction of the city's water and sewer infrastructure. The Utilities City Engineer develops plans, ensures compliance with regulations, manages the capital improvement plan, and collaborates with other departments and agencies to ensure efficient operations. This position requires a strong civil engineering background with experience in process design, and the design, construction, and maintenance of water and sewer infrastructure.

The City of Goshen desires to hire a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in civil engineering and a proven record of accomplishment in managing water and sewer infrastructure projects. The desired candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree, from an accredited college or university, in civil engineering or a closely related field, and a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the design, construction, and operation of water and sewer infrastructure. A master's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Indiana, or the ability to obtain one within 12 months of employment required.
