Client Details
Our construction client is one of the premiere General Contractors in the Indy area. They are looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their growing construction team. With an incredibly healthy pipeline for 2021 and beyond, this hire in integral for their construction team.
Description
Completes materials take-offs and establishes cost estimates
Reviews project proposal, drawings and plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
Develops relationships with subcontractors and maintains lists of subcontractors that perform quality work
Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
Prepares daily, weekly, monthly schedule to support and preserve the Contract Project Schedule
Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required
Dictates or prepares project reports for management, client, or others
Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies
Profile
2 years of construction experience
Strong background in Commercial/Residential/Industrial Construction
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The desire to grow their construction career professionally
The desire to drive the growth of a highly reputable General Contractor
Strong track record with client relationships
Job Offer
Base salary of $75,000-$87,500, depending on experience
