Due to current expansion and growth of Advanced Solutions
, we are seeking a co-op student to work with us to complete several specific engineering projects. 
This work assignment is in the SUEZ Advanced Solutions Operations Center located in Atlanta, GA.  Work will be done under the direction of our Director of Bid Department and the assignment will be to complete several specific engineering projects related to the continuous improvement of the Tank Line of Business.
Key Responsibilities
   Assist by completing specific engineering projects as assigned
   Reviewing engineering plans and specifications and generating initial take-off calculations for our Project Engineers.
   Contacting subcontractors for quotes on projects that we are bidding.
   Developing project engineering submittals for scheduled projects
   Performing cost/benefit analysis for projects delivered by the Service Centers
   Develop various cost analysis for budgetary and management decisions
   Assist in developing and fine-tuning scheduling and project management systems
   Visit job sites and attend pre-bid meetings as required.
   Interface with Project Managers, Engineers, Operations Managers, and Accounting
Measures of Success
   Motivation and drive demonstrated, to complete assigned project(s)
   Completion of assignments in a timely manner
   Ability to transfer learned technical knowledge to practical application
Qualifications Core Requirements
   Currently enrolled as a rising sophomore/junior to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum 2.8 GPA
   Some course work or experience in project management considered a plus
   Skilled in the use of Microsoft Business Professional software products especially Excel
   Effective planning and organization skills and must be detail oriented
   Must be personally motivated and willing to work independently
   Must be flexible in schedule and willing to work overtime as required (generally less than 5 hours per semester)
   Some domestic travel may be required
